But I'm smoking an Edge Corojo I bought a couple months ago (been a while since i had one) and it just tastes nothing like they used to. Sort of blah. Big disappointment since I really liked these before. Did the blend change?

Wouldn't you like to know?
Not sure but maybe your tastes have changed as well. I have had similar experiences with cigars I used to love then just seemed dull and boring to me years later even tho they were from the same box. I find my tastes change constantly and while I hope I am picking better cigars all the time I would still revisit it in another few months.

+1 taste buds are constantly evolving or as my wife says constantly burning.

You also could have gotten a bad one. It happens.
there is that as well.

Your taste in cigars will change many times... I no longer enjoy some cigars I loved, and am now smoking some things I never liked, and I am sure that will change somewhere down the road.

Or perhaps you are just chasing the dragon. The first time you had it, it was sensational. And the next just wasn't quite the same, not quite as good. And the longer you get away from your original great experience, the worse it gets...

...that or Rocky is producing dog rockets right now.

All very good points... But its a Rocky. The one consistent thing about Rocky's over the last 5 years is that they consistently change.

Before I used to really smoke cigars, I would always go for the Vintage 1992 or 1990 if I was in a humidor selecting a cigar. Since I started really getting into cigars as a hobby back in 2009, they haven't really been the same.

I liked the Vintage 92 as well when I started smoking regularly, and the Sun Grown. But even a couple of years ago the OWR was pretty good. Now??? AUghhhh.:barf:

There is a HUGE difference between the original release (and early) Edges and what you can buy today. Doesn't matter which wrapper. They are all just a pale shadow of their former selves... :shame:
