What's on the agenda?

Sirlion steak and hamburgers on the grill. Homemade french fries in the fryer, and strawberry shortcake for dessert here.

Skirt Steaks marinated overnight in:

1/2 cup Spanish sherry vinegar
1/4 cup virgin olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons hot paprika
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon toasted and ground cumin seeds
1 bay leaf, broken in half
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

The rest doesn't really matter, but there will be some potato salad, some corn, a salad salad (with avacados ), lots o'beer and some smokes.

Since it is 80 today, we took a ride to the shoreline and ate at one of the sea food jionts.

Wanted to BBQ but the weather "dip stick" (man) said storms. So I put on a corned beef this morning thinking it would. But, not so. So... Corned beef and cabbage. No desert unless the ice cream man cruises by.

Work was on the menu. Then almost all the restaurants in NYC were closed so we went to a favorite little Thai restaurant. She had the Surf and Turf and I had a seafood and jasmine rice pot. Food was awesome as usual.
