Basically just a new look, has a few things for businesses and is a little more web friendly, but if you aren't using it for something other than simple editing and composing then not really worth the upgrade.

Like the others have said, we found them to be fairly similar. I don't have any complaints about 2010 yet, but I also haven't run into a 'must have' feature.

Sounds like you just answered your own question there. Not really a big deal if you are happy with it. If you have a need for the "latest and greatest" 10 bucks for it is a great deal.
