I was on the founders committee to establish the Midwest Brewers Fest in Plainfield this past year and I believe that Burning Leaf set up a pretty sweet area for their patrons.
We are going to start with three flagship brews, a Belgian Wit, an IPA and a Stout. We are working on perfecting out recipes at this moment. The three of us are all huge Craft Beer junkies and want to bring the culture of Craft Beer to the downtown area. I founded a Craft Beer blog two years ago called
www.thegreatestbeerofalltime.com and both my partners are in the industry. Steve is a 16 year veteran of home brewing and has been professionally brewing for over a year now as the assistant brewer at Limestone and my other partner is Rafael who is the GM of Tap House Westmont as well as running the beer program at all of the Tap House location and is Cicerone certified. We make a great partnership as we each bring a different piece to the puzzle.
The best thing you can do for us is to spread the word, direct people to our FB and be there on the 5th for the public hearing and voice your support. You can keep updated on the FB page and look forward to meeting you possibly on Thursday!!!
