Mold or No Mold?

As I posted earlier this week, I was able to procure 10 PSDN4's. After closer inspection I saw this on 1 of them:

It is NOT fuzzy, and it's not coming off easily.
It's more discolored, than anything. Like a drop of bleach was spilled on it.

top spot looks to be a wrapper blemish, but the other by the color looks to be mold. How does the foot look?

That's actually what i referenced when i compared the cigar and the 2nd mold pic down. Although the white spot wasnt sticking out or fuzzy, but i think i was more in denial than anything. Thanks again for your thoughts. :crytears:

If it's only one stick, dry box it for a day and smoke it. Mold wipes off, it's probably just a blemish or sun spot.

foot looks perfectly fine.

If it's not fuzzy and it's not wiping off or smearing than it's probably not mold. Also if it's only on one of the cigars than that betters your chances that its not mold. I have seen tons of different weird looking blotches and spots on cigars. Probably nothing to worry about.

Sun spot. This happens when a water droplet stays on the leaf and the sun uses it as a magnifying lens kind of scorching the leaf.

No worries...just smoke it today! No need to toss...mold burns and that little amount will not effect the stick at all. Enjoy her today!

From the description and the pic, I have to agree with Plush. Hard not to agree with Plush with that Avatar of course...

thanks guys! i'm going to do just that. i'm going to smoke one tonight, but i am doing the whole fridge-freezer-fridge routine on the rest.
