What a gorgeous looking stick! Nice dark oily wrapper, a size you can really enjoy (if you have the time) and feels good in your hand.

I smoked this stick over an extended lunch today and was glad I decided to pick it up. Lots of coffee and cocoa flavour to start off with lots of smoke.. I loved how much smoke this stick produced and how slowly it burnt. The ash was a nice and thick grey and I can swear it felt like I had some freshly mowed grass in my mouth around the second third towards the last third I could taste some woody notes but the overall profile is very true to the Montecristo blend with a nice clean finish.

The burn was extremely even through out the stick and no touch ups were required at all, the ash was nice and tight. Its definitely a stick I would smoke again and again without hesitation.

Well, since it's illegal for us "mates" to smoke cuban cigars in the US, it's hard for us to review them. We'll have to rely on those members that don't have to worry about those restraints.

I hear though that this is a very good EL and is very underrated. Many of the Monte EL's are maligned but this one is quite good. At least that's what I have heard!! I have NO first hand knowledge of this fact since it is illegal for me to smoke those cigars!!
