thoughts on the two? I've been to Cass Fuente once before and want to know how it compares selection wise and price wise. I think they are located fairly close to each other so I guess I could just check it out but I like the smaller feel and wide selection of HTF AF at casa. I think they are owned by the same guy right?

i walked by the new MC lounge and it looks really nice! I didn't get a chance to walk in since it was very early in the morning. but you can see their humidor, as its facing the walkway and theres a decent selection in there. They're both at Caesars Palace which is nice. but being in vegas and if youre saying the same owners as Casa Fuente, Im sure its expensive. I'll have to visit the next time I'm there.

I went to both this week while working in Vegas. I went back to casa fuente a second time if that tells you anything. Also, the casa fuente maduro blend robusto may be the best maduro cigar I've ever had.

Montecristo Cigar Bar has a bigger selection of brands, and is much larger. It also has a huge sets of tvs and very relaxing seats. Casa Fuente has better mojitos and the Casa Fuente cigar. Both are great places and you should go to both. I preferred the Montecristo Cigar Bar as it's easier to move around, but you can't go wrong with either choice.

For space, comfort, vibe and feeling like you're away from the action vs. in a mall, I preferred to spend more time in the Montecristo. But you definitely need to experience both. I'd rather bite the bullet and spend the extra $$ on the Casa Fuente selection vs. what they have at the Montecristo...it's a decent selection but $20 w/tax for a brown label Tat vs. a few bucks more for a Fuente you can only get in Vegas is a no-brainer. I did get hit up once to buy a smoke at Monte before I could grab a seat, but that was only one out of about 4 visits. I can't hold it against them after watching a party of 4 bring their own giant plastic yard glasses into Casa and then proceed to order zero drinks and sit and smoke cigarettes while one of them bought one cigar.....people just don't know how to behave, so I can't blame places for being proactive in Vegas to make their money.

I think the drinks are priced close to the same, Monte has a lot more in the way of bourbon and scotch, but as a non-drinker both places were great...virgin tangerine mojitos at Casa and fresh blackberry fauxjitos at Monte for $6-$7 are killer. Decent snack menu at Monte, and after 5pm while it IS a $30 burger and fries, the Old Homestead burger you can order is just insane.

Both are nice, I'd say MC has a better lounge but CF has better smokes, even if it isn't a wide selection. (The Casa Fuente cigar is awesome, and worth the trip just for a few of those.)

Check out En Fuego on West Sahara too if you get the chance - much better prices, very comfy lounge, and best selection by far. As a bonus, they have an in-house roller and the house blend isn't a bad smoke at all.

A little late to this thread i am sure but for future readers with this question i completely second what @multi-useless said.
MC has much more selection and a killer lounge but Fuente has the best mojito and the exclusive sticks that are awesome. If i ever go back though more time will be spent at En Fuego than either of these.
And the Davidoff lounge is not worth the treck.

I agree on the Davidoff lounge. Decent cigar selection, but very expensive. Drinks weren't great. Though you don't have to walk through a casino to get it to it. Very easily accessible. Nice place for people watching.

Rhumbar was good for people watching too. Better drinks and prices and more central located. Plus you can bring your own sticks!

I've enjoyed both Casa Fuente and Rhumbar. I'm not a big gambler so my next trip to Vegas my plan is to leave the wife to the slot machines and I am doing my own cigar lounge tour. I plan on visiting as many as possible during the day and evening after dinner and a show with my wife maybe go to the Foundation Room or 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque. Both are at Mandalay Bay so I won't need a taxi after drinking.. just back up to the room lol. I still have Big Smoke on my bucket list so that would be great to do all that over a 3-4 day trip.

Big Smoke isn't very good from what I hear. Very big crowds, long lines, and no time to really talk to people. Also, it's expensive.
