On April 8th I will be leaving San Diego and making a one way drive east to Nashville TN with my girlfriend who got a job at Vanderbilt. I will miss what San Diego has to offer, along with my fellow cigar brothers here. On top of that I will have to get a feel for a new city, and I figured there has to be people on here who live, have lived, or know about what Nashville has to offer in terms of cigar shops or bars that do not frown on cigar smokers. Yelp has been slightly helpful, but not enough and I imagine there are more places in Nashville that simply haven't been reviewed on Yelp. I am excited for all of the new experiences Nashville has to offer; particularly the fact that some bars still allow smoking indoors. It is impossible to get a drink other than beer or wine with your cigar at a lounge in CA and smoking is prohibited indoors at bars. I have lamented with others before in regards to the fact that we can't get a good drink and smoke indoors, but I don't want to show up and make a grave mistake or piss anyone off in a new city. Moving comes with numerous uncertainties so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

While you still have a week left in San Diego, Excalibur on Clairemont Mesa serves more then beer and wine, they have tvs and you can smoke inside and enjoy your scotch or bourbon.

It has been quite a while since I went to Excalibur. I don't recall them serving scotch or bourbon. Either that's a newer offering or I just completely missed it. Thanks for the tip!
