Greets everybody,

I won't lie. Came across a pic of a Murcielago today and thought it was beautiful. Then when I looked at some reviews that were good and that it was a Eddie Ortega product, well you can guess the rest.

Any and all feedback welcomed. :)

I had the Toro it was OK, nothing to write home about. Give me a Cuban Classic over one anyday.

I love the cigar... I'm a big fan of the mexican wrapper they use. Pepin Garcia is also a big fan of it and will be using it more with future cigars.

As long as Pepin is making that cigar, I will be glad to smoke it. :)

I agree with Brandon - the Belicoso is my favorite vitola in this line. I also enjoy the Robusto as well. These are really reasonably priced now and you can find some really good deals right now.

I've only had the Beli -- LOVE them! These are one of the most amazingly under-rated cigars out there right now, imvho, even more amazingly because it's a Pepin stick.

I really want to know how the Rothchild compares to the Beli for those who've had both!

Okay, I'm done yelling :)

I gotta swim against the tide on this one. Picked up sampler pack of all sizes and found all to be disappointing. Then again, I'm not a bid Eddie Ortega fan except for the 601 Blue Prominente and even those need some good aging.

They're awesome cigars! Surprised me since I was expecting them not to be that good based on what a couple of other people had told me. But then again, I don't just go by what someone else says since taste is subjective and varies from person to person.

I smoked one the other night. I like them a lot, and will get a box eventually. But what do you expect when Pepin is involved

I agree that the wrappers on these are something special. Did Pepin use the same wrapper on the new LADC Mi Amor? I know that's a Mexican one too.

The Rothchild is just a shorter smoke. Flavor wise I don't find any difference. It is more preference for the torpedo shape I like. It is a good ~60 min compared to ~40 for the rothchild.

The Murcielago rothschild is terrific. I have not had as much time to smoke cigars as I did during the summer, so it has been nice to have such an enjoyable short smoke at my disposal. There are also some belicosos resting in my humi that I plan on getting to shortly, so I am keen on making a comparison between the two. If the Belis compare favourably, I think I might get a box.
