Must burn sticks?

In the very near future, I'll be ordering my first shipment of CCs, and I'm torn over what to order. I'm trying to come in at or under $300 for the total price, and trying to get at least 2 boxes. Any recommendations?

For reference, I tend to enjoy smokes such as:
1. Anything Oliva
2. RPs of the Cameroon or Vintage variety
3. Cameroons in general
4. Medium-full to full smokes with a healthy measure of spice.

If you like spice, definitely get some Partagas... the PSD4 is a classic. Just pick what size you prefer. Romeo Y Julieta Cazadores is another big spice bomb.

Thanks for the responses so far, guys. The truth is, that I'll be splitting the order with a buddy, so the limit is slightly flexible, but both of us being military AND single income households, we're being "reasonable." Then again, there IS life after divorce, right?


(Seriously though, I love my wife... Can't speak for my buddy, though.)

I didn't mean buy both, just offering suggestions. Yours was a good suggestion.

To offer something for your budget, I would recommend getting PSD4 and some kind of petit corona or minuto like the Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas. You can definitely get 2 good boxes for $300 or under. If you wanted to go over your budget by a little, PSD4 and Monte 4 would be a great combo too.

Party Shorts and Ramon Allones Specially Selected would be another good combo.

The Monte # 2's will probably be a given in this order, since my friend refuses to smoke anything less than like 9". Seriously though, this dude's go to sticks are Flathead 770s, Kristoff 60RG+, and the like. I've seen him kill a Churchill in 40 minutes and light another on its tail. I'm way more robusto, corona and PC style. I've been wanting to try some Lanceros and Panatelas, but I'm wary of the small RG. No real reason why, I just haven't brought myself to try it yet.

Well if you want Monte #2, you can kiss your $300 budget goodbye unless your 2nd box is on the cheap like a panatella.

10ct. Box of Monte #2s and a box of RASS or party shorts.

Look into 10 ct boxes. Then you can get a few more options if you are new to CCs. PSD4s are well under 100 for 10. Monte 2s are a little over 100 if you can still find a 10 ct. Then you still have about 100 or more to spend on something like Bolivar petit coronas or any other smaller smokes.

the Flathead 770 was an experiment. WAAAAAY to big for me LOL. I'm a fan of the 50-58 range, but i do like my smokes to be at least 5inches preferably 6-7in.
