My Chicago Visit & Cigar King

This week I find myself in Chicago to drop my youngest off for College and his first day of football practice. So, at the advice of a couple of the brothers here I dropped by Cigar King and the place did not disappoint!

Met a couple of the locals and the owner engaged me, asked a couple questions regarding my preferences and without missing a beat he had me walking out with this 5-pack!

Yes, I know I said the Davidoff Escuro was a meh smoke but, I am a smoker of second chances. I'll give this one 2-3 months to get its sea legs under it. The others, a couple of them will not make it back to Cali except for in a memory.

BTW: They had a handful of the 2014 Las Calaveras on hand

My son and all of my disposable income go to North Park University. Good thing I have a decent stash of sticks; besides what we had saved, we committed that as long as he pulled the grades, we'd help ensure he graduates with less than $20k in Student Loans (we want him to have some skin in the game but, with the right grades, missions trips and internships, it could be $0)
