Just picked up this stick today...sorry I didn't get the exact size but it is the churchill approximate size. The burn has been perfect thus far. Very pleasurable smoke. Complex...I am getting a bunch (not harsh) front end spice but I also detect a bitter sweet cocoa/coffee notes. Also I am getting a lite hazelnut flavor...lovin it so far. My only gripe is it doesn't hold an ash worth a darn...kinda loose roll. I will definately be buying more. :ccool:

It sure as heck looks like a maduro doesn't it AB....they call it a Habano Oscuro wrapper.

I tried the Petit Robusto and really liked it, that wrapper definately gives it a different flavor and taste compared to the original My Fathers.

I wasn't really a fan of the churchill, but the petit robusto is for sure the way to go... Toro was also really good but that robusto gave the best of the the flavors of the le bijou.

+1 for the Petit Robusto! Though, I haven't tried any of the other vitolas yet...

I remember a meaty/salty flavor that was REALLY, really, good.

Yep, I had my first one (Robusto) last week and it was great! Will definitely get some more...

So what's the deal on these... did Jaimie Garcia (Pepin's son) blend this all on his own just like the original My Father's or did he get help from the old man?

I was fortunate nough to get 3 of ea size when they were realeased at Pepins ERdlH shop in Miami, Ive sampled all 3 sizes, they all rock, the petite is amazing. I plan on gtting a box and saving the ones I first got 4 ever as they will be OR's.

Is My Father Le Bijou a rare brand or something? I have not found it a local B & M ever. I have been to a least 7. Is the particular reason I am not finding it?

Just had the PR curtosy of Mr. Hendy...great stick with a perfect burn time. Sparked it in the parking lot at work...and nubbed it as I was pulling into my driveway. Very nice stick indeed...thanks Hendy!

These are a GREAT cigar. Had my first ones in August courtesy of a fellow BOTL. Found a few this week at a B&M in Jacksonville, FL. The guy told me they are selling out fast and he has them on backorder already.
