A fellow BOTL sent me a prize pack for winning a contest of his, and he included a Por Larranaga with the sticks. Has anyone had these? Just looking for an idea of what to expect when I spark it up(which will be a lil' while anyway cause I'd like to save it being my only one HaHa).

Thanks in advance for info.

I popped my Habanos cherry on a PL PC that had a few years of age on it. I hope to remember that first time forever. Depending on the age or vitola you have, any PL should be just a very good medium strength smoke. Enjoy it.

This one is about 4-5inches long and I'd guess about a 38 ring gauge...
There's a pic of it in my Tupperdor post, it is the one in the little baggie.

Hmmm, it's hard for me to get the scale as I am not familiar with the other cigars.

If it is closer to 38 rg then 42 then it is a panatella. (Am I spelling that right?)

The panatella is machine made and hand finished while the PC is totally hand made.

STOP!!!!!! Don't smoke it!!!!!
If you do, all kinds of problems will result:

CC Bills out of control
Surfing BOTL all day long
Prostituting yourself for Habanos
"Significant Other" problems

Step away from the habano!
Very good advice! That looks like a PC. Be prepared for a very nice smoke.

Someone is in REAL trouble if that happens. I would not want to be in those shoes. :waving:

Don't save it Brian. Fire up that treat. Trust me when I say that one can go overboard saving the good stuff by smoking all of the misc singles hanging around, and finally wonder why am I doing this to myself, when I have these amazing puppies waiting right here? If you buy some to age, great, but until then, I suggest you smoke the best you have whenever you have time to sit back and enjoy.

I'll smoke it sometime next week, maybe thursday afternoon to reflect on my first week of college classes. I'll probably need some R&R after that:grin:

I always thought the first week of classes was optional. Or was it the first month? I can't remember.
