Hi guys so I have been puffing for about a month now and I started puffing some questionable suspects but am working my way up, time line is somewhat like this: Backwoods, Macanudo maduro ascot, RP junior sun grown, RP ITC, RP vintage 1990, Nestor miranda lancero, Agusto reyes maduro, AF double chateau, and finally today I smoked an AF hemingway short story.

my whole reason for the post is to state that I am blown away by the difference of the hemingway compared to the others I have smoked it was a wonderful smoke which I will be purchasing a box very soon. Great smoke, any suggestions on something that would be as good or better?

Ahh, yes, the Short Story...mmmm... It was my first choice for a box purchase, will probably always be one of my favorites. You should try some Tats, though!

Lots of good advice here. Keep trying things off of the previous recommendations and you're sure to find something you like as much or more

Well said, Jerome! Sounds very familiar! I commented to sportsmedjosh yesterday that I have had very few repeats of cigars of yet, as I try different smokes whenever I can. If I remember correctly, I also told him I favored the SS and the entire Arturo Fuente line!

Tabacos Baez SF is a great 3 dollar smoke... and the H is an awesome smoke at 6-8 bux.

Hemi ss is a beautiful smoke. Padron 4000 or 5000 series maduro is another very nice smoke and reasonably priced.

The slope started a month ago... hah I bought a box of Augusto reyes maduro toros really cheap from CI. The Hemi ss will be my first good box that I wont be afraid to show someone.

:jitb:if you liked the short story keep your eye out for a work of art or work of art maduro (WOAM) harder to find but I enjoy them.

A similar size easier to find reasonably priced smoke is the PUNCH champion. (love the looks and burn of this figuardo) I would also give the Oliva serie O or V a try. (I personally do not like the Serie G)

Some mentioned to try a Tatuaje but if you are new to smoking you might want to ease into them, well the Red (havan blend) is the milder of them from what I have experienced.

I am a big fan of LFD but they tend to be fuller bodied as well.

Trying new things is half the fun !! :computer: welcome to the club
