This isn't really a review per se, I just had my first Tatuaje cigar (I've had Cabig maduro and CT but this was the first one from the flagship line).
I just wanted to say, it was a damn fine cigar!! Thanks to Tatuaje Guy for making it happen, even if it was almost a year ago we did a trade LOL!! Better late than never.
Although I am not sure what the specific name was, it was a brown labeled one, probably around 6 inches 50 something RG.
With all the hype, I didn't know what to expect and tried to keep expectations really low because I didn't want to have the cigar not live up to what I thought it would be. In the first inch, it was absolutely nothing special at all. Just pretty boring and I was pretty worried that it would all be that way.
Well, right after that, it opened up like no other cigar I have had did...I got nuances of a sweet vanila kind of flavor (faint but very good) as well as a plethora of different tastes that went perfectly together. It stayed that way until the very end and there were some flavor cycles (if that makes sense) that kept me interested and I enjoyed it but yet it didn't leave my palate perplexed. It was a WOW moment for me that I do not get often from cigars and I just wanted to share it.
Thanks for trading me so long ago Tat Guy!! I really appreciate it and look forward to trying a lot more Tats in the future!
