I set it up so that I can add up to two more taps should...errrr.... when the need arises. I can get 4 homebrew kegs to fit in there.

The co2 is inside the fridge behind one of the kegs. I will probably drill a hole for the gas line eventually and move it outside, but it is fine in there for now.

Nice, I just ordered my co2 regulator and secondary regulators. What faucets did you get? I am looking for perlick ss525's. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Sweet, I can't wait for mine to get up and going. I am doing the fridge set up but with the handles out the side of the fridge. Seeing yours get me more anxious.

OK so I need details!

Did you just make a Kegarator in your fridge? I need specs please if so. And I will look into this.

Tanks,

John

John, its more or less easy to do. Search for kegerator and you will find kits to do it all. You can get elaborate or keep it simple. You can also get taps to go on full size kegs. Two more weeks and I will be golden.

Tanks,

I grabbed an old fridge off craigslist for $180 and put in in my garage. Stripped out all the shelves and drawers and built my own platform as low as I could make it and still be level. The back floor of the fridge has a severe slant upwards so the bottom is not actually flat and level. By building the platform I maximize the number of kegs I can get in there. I already had the gas system and the corny kegs for my homebrew but you need at least a 5lb stainless steel co2 tank and a regulator as well as gas lines and the necessary connectors. Homebrew kegs use different fittings than commercial kegs.

I bought the faucets, 5" shanks, and beer line and fittings. Then it was just a matter of drilling 7/8" holes into the front door of the fridge for the shanks to go through. Also used 1" think pieces of wood on the inside of the door where the shanks come through to reinforce the faucets. The plastic inside the fridge is very flimsy. The wood makes the faucets feel more solid in the door.
