This project probably took me about a year to get it where its at. I have been working on it and pushing away from it for a while. It was one of those projects that didn't cost much because I had 75% of the parts.
Since I put riding my motorcycle on tracks on the back burner because I bought a house I decided to make this a rainy day project.
I grew up spending alot of time in an arcade and playing video games at home and have always wanted an arcade cabinet of my own. My buddies father maintained arcades around the bay and gave me an empty cabinet to start out my project for free.
All I did was redo some wood work, build a control panel and wire it to a piece of hardware that connects to a pc and some art work with photoshop.
Basically now a days all you need is a computer, with not that much HP to run all those old games I grew up playing and free software.
This is the a picture I used for most of the art I used.
Some guy made it REALLY big and I used it where I wanted. I liked it because it was simple and had alot off old school games incorporated into it.
This is pretty much how I have it now.
So this is how it works, you turn it on scroll through the games you put in the computer than press play. I even have a pause button.
