*Update*
My receiver arrived and I finished putting it together a few minutes ago. It was surprisingly easy and I really only used about three tools. Check out the pictures!

Finally! My AR is almost ready for the range. Tomorrow I will pick up the BPM lower receiver from the FFL and start installing the lower parts kit. Until then, enjoy some pics!

Nice. I still think putting the parts together is almost more fun than shooting it ;-) I've still got a few stripped lowers lying around. I think one might be an SBR in the future.

After factoring in all the parts, shipping costs, and FFL fees, it was a little over $700. I did score a lot of killer deals and did some group buys so with the same parts it could have easily ran a lot higher.

It's quite a bit of money for "just a .22" but it'll be a lot of fun to learn the AR platform with plus the lower is built to support a 5.56 upper once I go that route

Thanks everyone. I'm really glad I opted to build one rather than buy it already completed. I was able to learn a lot more about the platform plus I can strip it all the way down for cleaning when I need to.

Looks nice. What BUIS are you going to get?
Not sure yet about iron sights. I still need to adjust my current optic situation because it sits way too low. I stopped into Bass Pro yesterday to see if they had any risers but all they have is a row full of plastic zombie AR attachments so I left :dunno:

Nice build. I have 2 spikes stripped lowers that I need to decide what to build. A nice plinking .22 is a good idea.
