Just got in yesterday what took up the lions share of this year's tax refund-


An Alienware M7700 Laptop.


Holllleee Mutha, this thing is fast!

Got the PC version of Call of Duty 2 to celebrate and it is un-believeable. The graphics are just amazing. Much better than the PS2 version of COD2.

I was going to kick my 4 year-old Dell laptop into the street and run over it with my car, but the kids begged to have it, so I relented.

I have to say also that Alienware's customer support is top-notch. The 17" screen was on back-order for 3 weeks so they threw in a free 1gb thumb drive 'cause we had to wait. They kept us very well informed during the build process.

HIGHLY recommended.

The computers they have are great looking, and awesome performance. I hope to get one one day. Those things are beasts compared to other computers. You should try running quake 4 or Doom 3 on there, those should scare the bejesus out of you. opeyes:

Video/Graphics card- Integrated 256mb NVidia GeForce 6800
Display- 17" UXGA 1920x1200 LCD
Sound card- Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2zs

I wanted to go all-out, but that was all my budget would allow.

Huh, didn't know Dell bought Alienware. Good for them! I dealt with Alienware 3-4 years ago as one of my Florida accounts. Didn't do a whole lot of business with them, but now and then got some nice Samsung DRAM Module business out of them. Just couldn't compete with all the places that specialize in that business.
