Well, for the past week I've had the oppurtunity to travel throughout France and Spain. I visited all the usual sights, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Castles, Las Ramblas, and many more places. In every city I came across the usual tobacco shops, mostly selling cigerettes with a small humi of cigars, but two shops are really worth mentioning. The first, A La Civette, is located just in front of the Louvre. The shop was very upscale, carrying Davidoff, Partagas, Cohiba, Monte, as well as a large pipe selection. The most interesting part of the shop was the walk in humidor. The doors were all glass and resembled one of those high tech wine cellars. Like the wine cellars, there was a sort of electronic dumb waiter that lifted an emplyee up to the higher shelves of the humidor (it was a good 15 ft high). Prices here were a little high, a Monte 2 ran at 15 euro.
The second BnM was located in Barcelona. It was called Gimeno. It was a more traditional shop carrying an array of torches and cutters from Savinelli. They also had a very large walk in. Prices here were the best, and everyone was very helpful. However, its best to go during the day. Las Ramlas, the street it is located on can be quite sketchy at night.
