A nice piece of jewelry, dinner at her favorite restaurant, and tickets to a play.

Well her birthday is on a Thursday (21st). The kids and I will take her out to dinner on Wednesday for a nice dinner and presents with a small cake.
I will tell her I will take her out to dinner on Saturday and we will go to a nice hotel Saturday that night and have some fun Sunday. That way she will be dressed to impress! We will go to dinner Saturday and about 25 close friends and family will be there. I will get a real nice cake and tell everyone gag gifts are the presents of choice! :agreeclen You know, Box of depends, fiber cereal, Ben Gay, magnifying glass, box of prunes..................

If your wife has a sense of humor, get two cards, one to tell her you are not buying her another gift in the future until she uses this year's birthday gift you got for her. Give her the card with a picture of a cemetery plot in it.

Then give her the real thing. Just a suggestion but SPA services are a nice gift. There are so many different services offered that maybe a gift certificate to a SPA would be nice.
