Before I get into my mini-review of this smoke, I tried posting in an older Namakubi Thread, but there was an error and it wouldn't allow me to...
Anyway, on to my thoughts.
I've smoked the Sucio by Namakubi before and honestly didn't enjoy it that much. The stick I smoked had a very ashy taste to it and didn't seem to have any flavor to it at all. Not true with the Papi Chulo. This stick was fantastic. A nice, rich taste and none of the ashy taste from the Sucio. I'd characterize the smoke as a medium body, smooth and creamy. I'm enjoying it so much I'm having to shove a toothpick in it so I don't burn my fingers smoking it down this far.
I can't wait to smoke the other sizes to compare them and also revisit the Sucio to see if I just happened upon a bad one.
Overall I'd give this cigar a 4 out of 5 rating and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice medium bodied smoke, but doesn't have a lot of time to enjoy it.
My 2 cents.
