Man, I had a sore throat/cough for about a week that I couldn't shake. Wen to the Dr yesterday and she gave me a freebie of Nasonex. Two sprays in each nostril and this is the first morning I haven't had a sore throat. Man am I happy this morning.

I was going through cigar withdrawl!

I have to take Nasacort for the same thing.

Apparently the sore throats were related to sinus drainage caused my mild allergies.

I have been taking it since March/April and haven't had a sore throat nor a sinus infection since.

I hope I won't have to take it for that long. I usually don't get this so I hope it is a one time thing. I am glad it works so well though

It's always weird snorting stuff up your nose. And then snorting real hard so the medicine doesn't leak back out

Mine was a stupid nasal drip from a cold. Just kept the soar throat around. Now it's gone.

Use a cross handed technique when spraying. For the left nostril use the right hand. For the right nostril spray with the left. It aims the spray towards the outside rather than the septum. The middle of the nose or the septum contains many blood vessels. You do not want to irritate this area or you will have these kinds of problems.

I am literally drowning in that stuff. My GF is a drug rep for Schering Plough, and there are hundreds of samples all over the house and in her car.

It's too bad I don't need the stuff. Maybe I should have started dating a girl who sells morphine......
