I am pretty stoked about this. I was browsing through the arcade games on the Xbox Live Game Marketplace and came across this little gem. So many childhood memories are tied to this game. I remember being 5-6 years old and playing this with my friend at his house. I remember how Rodman's hair would change colors every quarter. So without the slightest hesitation I bough it. Holy crap is it fun. New players and legends. Some great legends were left off, but its ok because it is still NBA Jam. I recommend anyone who wants to play the old game and does not want to go track down the crappy disc copy they made a couple years ago, this is the way to go. I think it cost me a little less than $20 in gamer credits.

I have been playing this on iPad. Love the nostalgia factor as you say.

I still like the original arcade version the best. Came out my first year of college. Myself and would take Houston, he was Olajawoun and I was Kenny Anderson. Nobody could beat us as I would shoot the three pointer with Kenny and he would take out both players and get the rebounds if I missed.

I also remember that Detroit players had better stats than displayed in the game as the game's creators were Piston fans.

My friend worked at the arcade in our towns mall. After hours, we would go back into the arcade and turn NBA Jam's on freeplay and play until 2 or 3 in the morning. Kind of a bit of an advantage over other people, lol.
