I really couldn't care less about the nba but nowadays there's a Kentucky player on almost every team so it makes it fun to watch for me.

I was never into the NBA but the wife likes it and is from Texas, so we are Mavs fans. We haven't really watched any games this season, hockey takes priority over basketball.

Huge NBA fan. Obviously I'm partial to the Suns, who are doing way better than anyone expected.

Speaking of Kentucky, we ended up with a few of those guys. One Eric Bledsoe who plays out of his mind but is hurt, and young Archie Goodwin, kids 19 plays for the Suns.

Yeah I'm glad Bledsoe got out from behind CP3 so we can watch how good he is- dude was a straight up stud playing with john wall at UK.

Archie on the other hand was hard to watch. He's worlds ahead of where I thought he'd be now. I hope he does well in the long run.

Love watching the suns with two UK players. The pelicans, raptors, and somebody else has two of our players.

They sent Archie back down to the D-League for like 2 games, I think he scored like just under 40 points both games, so they pulled him back to riding the bench again for us.

What do you all think of the all star selections? Not to put a KY slant on it, but Demarcus cousins/Anthony Davis are two of the best big men in the league already (I'd argue cousins is the best) and both snubbed. I'm sure both will be all stars eventually, and Davis will be a perennial all star. But I was shocked to see cousins out with the numbers he's putting up.

Well since New Orleans is 12th place in the West and Sacramento dead last, I'm not all that surprised.

I am more shocked that Goran Dragic didn't get picked. Phoenix is #6 right now, and its like we don't exist still. On the other hand I feel like it will give our team motivation to kick some ass for getting disrespected like that.

From what I understand, there is a slim chance that they may pick 1 to 2 more players in the West for injured reserve to replace Kobe and possibly CP3.

If that happens and they still don't pick Goran I give up.

You make good points but those guys are beasts. John wall made the game and isn't having as good a year as either of these guys, but he does have the wizards in 5th or 6th place. Doesn't make a lot of sense- of course neither does mlb allstar voting.

Cousins can't be the best big man in the league until he starts playing defense and stops stink eying his teammates when he doesn't get the ball. He's awesome but so much room to grow.

Davis is such an animal on both ends of the floor. I wouldn't argue that he's the best big man, though Duncan and Nowitzki deserve respect even though they're getting old.

I'd also go to war with Hibbert any day of the week. What he does to protect the paint for Indiana is worth 10-15 points a game even if he's not much of a scorer. Their defense is all time great.
