Need Electrical Help

I'm finishing the outside wiring on the humidor and need to splice the power supply for the Accumonitor into another power cord. The power supply for the Accumonitor has a voltage regulator plug on it, and it says:

Class 2 Power Supply
Input : 120V AC 60Hz 21w
Output: 12V DC 1000mA

My question is, it has a two strand wire coming out of it, one with a white stripe, is the white stripped wire positive or negative? Admittingly I'm an electrical idiot.

The answer was I didn't need to know! :rofl: I was going to splice the power supply for the Accumonitor into another power cord, but then ended up just creating a socket on top of the humidor and plugged it directly in, so no splice was needed.
