This is an old Murray riding mower. I have the exploded parts diagram, but can't find a manual anywhere.
After removing a bunch of panels from the back so I could remove the guide pins on the rear pulley, I was able to get the old belt off there. Then dropped the belt off the front pulley and started pulling it thru the lower chassis. Thought I was home free only to find that the belt still goes around the steering column. Fock!
Do I really need to remove the steering wheel and take the whole console apart to finish removing the belt? Or am I just a dumbass who overlooked the simple method?
