Need help!!!

I recently was given an armoire that is pretty old and I have cleaned it and wiped it down. I plan to refinish it and put cedar all inside and inside the joors. But in the meantime would it be ok to set my humidors that are already at the right temp and humidity inside the unit? Or will the dryness or old stain that was used previously leak into my humidors and cigars or will they be ok since there in there own humidor box already and aren't using the air or surrounding air inside the armoire....is it safe to put my humidors and other boxes inside this unit or should I take them out until I finish the project? Please help anyone?!!!! Also the inside doesn't have any smell or stain smell either!

As long as there is no smell coming from the old finish, and the humi's seal well, then you should be fine. The humidors should be just as happy as they were sitting on a table.. Just watch out for any off smells. They WILL absorb ambient funk...

So as long as each box and humidor keeps there humidity/temp and doesn't leak a smell I should be ok to store them in there until I finish my project!! Thanks for the advice!!!

I keep my humi's in a cabinet, no issues.. Just keep them away from any loud, odd smells, like paint, varnish, perfumes, etc.. I would imagine that if anything, the cabinet would help add a bit of a temp buffer...

The stain I say was put on probably over 10 years ago ...I've wipe it down many times and there are no stain smells like when I stain wood...so I think I'm ok until I get it completed I hope....thanks again mjones9630!!
