So Im looking to buy my father-in-law a box of cigars. he likes his sticks more on the mild side. Hes sampled cuba libre, indian tabac and arganese cigars. He's liked them all, my question is whats a good choice that he HASNT tried for me to get him. Id like to spend around 50 bucks. Im thinking maybe a wheel of perdomo fresh rolled, just unsure if he'd like them.

I personally haven't tried them yet, but a lot of people gave good reviews to the 5 Vegas Gold Maduro. The regular Gold is a mild-medium bodied cigar and they put on a good broadleaf wrapper to give it some good coffee/chocolate flavors. The broadleaf might be too much, but could be worth a try since it's a mild cigar blend.

Padrons! Great smoke, great value.
Probably going to cost you more than $50 for a box, but worth it . Just curious though as to why you'd want to get a box of something he hasn't smoked for him? Wouldn't you rather get him something he likes than chance it that he won't like the ones you get?

Since he likes the milder smokes and your budget is limited, I'd recommend La Vieja Habana either the Conn Shade or African Camaroon. I'd put the Conn Shade up against a Macanudo any day as far as similar body and flavor. They are made with short filler tobacco so they aren't as pricey. However, the smoke great.
