x2. Fakes don't have anything burned into the box.I think theyre legit.
Looks like the barcode with the numbers has been removed. this is normal when sent by a vendor in a duty free zone. You know you can run the serial number as well on the Habanos S.A. website. http://www.habanos.com/Sellos/Info/VerificaSelloCajon
Yes ! I never incountered the barcode removal until I moved to the United States. In Ireland CC are brutal. the Vat tax is choking:cryloud:Yes bar code removal is common for grey or parallel market cigars. you should not see it if you buy your cigars through primary market vendors.
this was a trial order to try to get to know the vendor. did my research seemed legit. What threw the red light up was cutting of the barcode. So now I'll follow up with the vendor and see what they say. thanks for the help.know your vendor!
don't know, on the mend right now so cant try em out. But where will i ever find a guinnea pig to try one for me.:glassesgrReal imo.... how do they smoke? Btw I have that factory code (09) on other boxes just with diff months.
I don't mean to throw up red flags with the bar code being cut off. The reason behind this is the parralell market. It does not mean they are fakes only that they were not sold to the country they are being sold from. Habanos does not support the big online shops out of switzerland so most of them source their cigars through other regions. The other regions that are suplying then cut the bar code off as that indentifies to what region the cigars were sold to. Habanos pulled a couple of distributorships last year and also arrested the vice president because of these issues. Main part to have concerns about is that the cigars were properly maintained during their long travels.this was a trial order to try to get to know the vendor. did my research seemed legit. AWhen did you PM me as I am not sure I got it?
Your not going to get a direct answer email Imo. You'll get some half arssed response trying to cover why they don't have the code still on. TRUST me. What A says is the gospel. How well were they kept during all those travels and how well were they kept before sold to you. Check all the tubes for mold. The problem isn't real or fake but storage as A said.this was a trial order to try to get to know the vendor. did my research seemed legit. What threw the red light up was cutting of the barcode.
