O.k. Guys. I'm going to Cancun for vacation next week and i'm curious as to which cc's I should just try first. I've never smoked any cc's yet. I really like full bodied full flavored cigars. Also, I would like some info on some milder cigars for my girl to try. She's doesn't smoke cigars so I would like to make sure she has a good experience. Trying to turn her to the darkside.

If you reside in the US, even while in Cancun, purchasing, obtaining, or smoking Cuban cigars is illegal!

But if it weren't I'd try:

Monte #2
Cohiba Siglo VI
PSP No.2
PSD No.4

Oh God, there's so many!

P = Partagas, S = Series, P = Pyramid 52 ring guage, 2 = 6 1/8 (I think is length) pyramid size stick

D = 50 ring guage. 4 = the length 4 7/8" long. this would be a robust size stick.

I went to Cancun in 1999 and left in the year 2000, It was only 10 days but OMG that was a great time. Be sure you hit up the Mayan Ruins and a mangrove tour. If you want to PM me, I have some great suggestions for day trips. The people are amazing towards Americans. However Cancun is a tourist destination and will most certainly have counterfit CC's. I'm sure someone here can give you the name of a reputable shop, but the concierge at your resort should be able to point you in the right direction, also the gift shops in some of the resorts have small humidors and sell authentic sticks. Cab drivers and street vendors, are a no no. If it's too good to be true, it is. The night life is great, but that is only a thin layer of Cancun and the Yucatan Peninsula.
