Good friend just gifted me two tatuaje's that he has had in his walk in for some time. Most interested in the lancero. Disregard the partagas in the pic, I know what that is :king:

The El T lancero is a blend that is based on the Cabaguan.... It was released before the regular line El T. From what I understand Pete put it out to get rights to the name. Not the same blend as the El T regular line. Excellent cigar.

Very cool, thanks! These will probably go down until I catch the urge to smoke them. They look so good though.

So quick clarification. I opened the old man and the c tonight and to me the lancero looks identical to the one i had in the picture? Is this the case?

Yes--the brown label Old Man coffins have these lanceros in them.

As far as I know, there are *three* El Triunfador lanceros:

Original Release (these are brown label, put out to lock down the trademark)
Original Blend (re-releases of the original brown-label lanceros, same blend and still produced, but not the OR)
El Triunfador (red label like the other El T vitolas, NOT the same blend as the OR/OB)

I'm not totally wowed by the red-label ones, but I love the original blend lanceros. One of my favorite cigars.
