Not a review really but I just lit up the 2nd one of these and they are just incredible. Similar to a coffe break but better. Full bodied and some nice spice.

I smoked one recently as well. Burned well, tasted fine, FULL strength for sure.

Gotta say I can not stand the name or the band. I just don't see anything remotely Art Deco about this cigar, or any cigar for that matter, except the band. So to name cigar after a lame decorating theme just seems lame. Maybe thier next cigar will be the "Contemporary".

The same could be said of The Face... Only thing that has anything to do with Leatherface is the "band" being a piece of tobacco, and the box, but no one is griping about that. I personally love Art Deco design work though, and I appreciate the idea.

i have to disagree. FACE is a continuing theme of monsters for Halloween. I saw the Art Deco at my local BnB and by the looks of it I thought it was a cheapie. Kudos for the employee to tell me otherwise about it... but still I don't see it as a cigar band that will draw attention from many. I personally like the San Cristobal and Aroma De Cuba labels these days but to each their own : )

Not named for a decorating theme, it is named for a district of Miami, where the company that produces this cigar is named after.

I understand that, just saying that the blend doesn't have anything to do with Leatherface or anything, just like the Art Deco blend is not somehow representative of Art Deco...

I gotta agree with MartyBoy, it's definately one of my new favorite smokes! :cbig:

Stogie, where you you usually get your smokes from?

(The band reminds me of a sign/marque you would see out in front of an old diner or movie picture house.)

The Art Deco district in Miami is named as such because it is a major representation of Art Deco architecture, art, industry, etc.

I for one like the new Art Deco. What ever it is called will not drive me away from it. It is a very fine cigar. So those of you that do not like the label and name so be it. It will leave more for me to enjoy. It is up to the maker to name their cigar. Nestor liked the Art Deco theme so who am I do caste doubt on his judgment.

Yeah, regardless of what it looks like, I have heard nothing but good things about this smoke, and am anxious to try one.
It is an awesome smoke. I am with SkinsFanLarry, one of my new favorite cigars. Can't wait for Nestor to get to Phoenix so we can chat about it some more. I will try to get some pics of us up smoking them together when the time comes.

We are glad to hear that you like the cigar.. The cigars In lieu of the traditional wood boxes, are presented in a metallic art-deco designed tins of 21 cigars

These things are harder to hunt down than the Face, at least for me anyways. I am digging the band quite a bit. It reminds me of a juke box. Anyways, a friend asked me about these and I can't seem to locate anything. Either way, I am looking forward to giving this a try when I get my hands on them!

They haven't been released officially yet. My local Nestor reps have stated it should be out to stores mid-November but we shall see.

There was a Nestor Miranda event down here a few weeks back and my buddies got to try them. They said they were pretty good!
