Looked to be an old fashioned Boise blowout, but Nevada has come roaring back in the 2nd half 24-21 right now. As a Fresno St. fan, I hate Boise... go Nevada!

Agreed, I think there's a lot of teams better than those two, but we'll never know for sure until there's a playoff! The one thing I was excited about Obama saying he was going to do.

After hearing the bcs commish talking about why a playoff wouldn't work, I don't think we'll ever see one. Pretty much All the reasons were monetary.

But of course... Not sure why each playoff game, can't be its own bowl?

What a run by that Boise back...Nevada has some work to do again.

2 things he mentioned. 1 with the bowl games people plan trips, entire weeks of vacation around a bowl game bringing a lot of money to the cities. A playoff would eliminate this. 2 the bcs commish used to be the NCAA bball tourney head. Kentucky fans apparently were notorious for not going to pre-final four games. They just expected them to go to the final 4 and would save their money for those games. Thus, they would never sell out their allotment of tickets. Those are just 2 of the things he mentioned. Too much money at stake.

Interesting. Still think it should be about the kids and not just $$$. They'll still make plenty and could have the non-playoff teams still in bowl games. Oh well.

Glad Nevada just tied it!
