Admittedly, having a couple of Smoker Friendly shops in the area has presented opportunities to peruse their shelves for sticks I might never have tried and for accessories at well below even some online prices. But, the strategies offered here are interesting for although most B&M owners are not threatened by these shops (or head shops that sell cigars) stealing their clientele, I can see the potential impact both positively (increasing the consumer base) and negatively (the continued lumping of small flavored cigars into the category of premium cigars).

It's an interesting read.

All I have here is a smoker friendly. Unless I drive to Denver.

So I don't mind it. I wish I had a good B&M. But a smoker friendly with a liga account is nothing to complain about when it's a town of this size.

Went into two Smoker Friendly for the first time last week and one had some nice sticks and decent prices. Not sure if I'd go back anytime soon as we have a bunch if nice B&M in Denver.

I'm visiting Colorado in a few months, what are the best B&M's for good selection that also have lounges that are laid back? I heard about the Robusto Room, was gonna check that out.

Haven't made it to Robusto Room yet.
Cigars on 6th. Good selection, decent prices, friendly people and nice lounge. Another plus hair cut, shave and cigar with Tony.

Havana Manor Louisville. Totally laid back lounge with a nice humidor. Staff and customers friendly.

Havana Manor Longmont (Different owners same name). Won't go back. Didn't feel welcome by staff, customers or owner. Lounge was nice but had to buy 2 premium sticks and even then they didn't want me to use it.

Stanley Pappas. Nice lounge but I was the only one using it when I went. Some good prices some not. Worst cup of coffee I've ever had.

Brown Palace (Churchill Bar). It's more about history of Denver and it's a high end hotel. Friendly staff, small selection and higher prices but it's expected since it's in the Brown.

Capital Cigars. Friendly people and can bring your own cigars if you buy a coffee or drink. Didn't check the humidor out but it looked big.

I went to a bar in Denver on New Years. It was listed in google as a cigar bar. Their humidor was awfully small. The seating was terrible. And all the ashtrays were for cigs not stogies. Drinks were cheap as hell though

Cigars on 6th and Havana Manor in Louisville are both great. Haven't tried Smoking Cave in Highlands Ranch yet but have heard great things about it!

I actually went to a different b&m last week cause it was the closest. No lounge but they're walk in was twice the size of my local one, and they carry more of the sticks more experienced smokers would want. Behind the cashier area they got all the cigs, but the guy said they sell very little of em

In texas we have Texas tobacco and texoma tobacco. Basically ran by the same people. They used to be mainly a head shop but carry, e cigs, hookah, pipes, cigars, cigs, chew. You name it they probably have it. But last time I was in there looking at cigars I found a massive tobacco beetle infestation. I notified the owner and left. Haven't been back since. We have 3 texoma tobaccos and 1 Texas tobacco in the same town and I've heard they constantly have issues with beetles. Which I doubt they ever correct the problem but you know. But they sell a big variety of cigs. I used to get my Davidoff cigarrettes from there.

I went to a smoke shop just down the street from home. My sister and her husband wanted to check out the cigar inventory. Had some nice sticks in the walk in, but there were a pile of boxes/singles in the middle for a dollar or two less than the same stick on the shelf. Something wasn't right. I checked out a cigar, and found a beetle in the cello, and a hole in the cigar. No good!

Oh no no! Elite is not apart of it. Texas tobacco and texoma tobacco is a chain owned by Arabs. (Hope I don't offend anyone) mainly head and hookah shop. But they do have walk ins. But like I said last time I was in there the floor was infested with beetles.

I haven't been to elite yet but I keep hearing about it. It's next on my list. Just got to work up to want to drive on the toll roads to get there lol. I've got family in friends in Addison so maybe I can make an exception. Ha
