The last few weeks my wife and I have been busy welcoming new additions into the family .

This is Butters, he is my wife's first snake. She has been saying for a while that she wants one since I have 10 so while we were in Vegas we stopped in at Exotic Pets and she picked one out.

This one doesn't have a name yet, but will probably end up being called Tudor due to my wife's addiction to the HBO show of the same name.

This one has quickly become my favorite addition to the collection. It's a Tarahumara Mountain Kingsnake, my wife's anniversary gift to me. So colorful and very active little bugger, eats well too .

Then this little fella arrived at the clinic via UPS today, my wife's anniversary gift. She's been wanting a tortoise for a long time and it took me a while to find someone who bred them that actually had some available. He's a Russian Tortoise, only a few weeks old. His name is Henry VIII.

It's getting to be a very full house around here .

Geez man, I know you're jealous that I have the high score in the snake game and all but this is going a bit overboard no?? :squinteye
I swear every time I play that damn snake game my keyboard is defective :angerhead. I'm only about half way to the number of snakes I used to have before I went off to college, just gotta figure out where to put them...:scratchhe .

Nice, Dan!!! One of these days, I'll have to bring Daniel by and let him see your "family". He would get a kick out of it.

Now, which one of those can smoke a cigar?? Would they smoke a culebra? *hahha*

Awesome! Especially the tortoise. I had a snapping turtle for almost 10 years - nothing like 'interesting' pets to liven up a household.

Very cool stuff! I hope your King Snake isn't too stressed after reading all that garbage about the oil spill.
 I was a little confused, then I noticed what you're talking about.

How much you think I could get? just kidding, he's a keeper. Besides I gotta have some form of slave labor to help do things around the house...even if it will take a few years before he's able to.

Some college guys I lived with had a few snakes. The most interesting of their collections were an eastern diamondback and a copperhead. That eastern diamondback was one vicious SOB. I helped my roommate get him out of his cage once when he didn't have a hook to lift him with. To make a long story short, it was interesting and the last time I will ever do that again!
