New BOTL from the UK

Hi there,

I'm from Nottingham, in the UK and a serving member of Her Majesty's Royal Air Force.
I started smoking cigars last year while serving in Afghanistan alongside the US Marine Air Control Squadron at Camp Bastion and absolutely loved it. I was lucky enough to have a Marine APO address so I managed to get a number of cigars sent out from the states which I brought back to the UK with me.
Since being at home I've found a couple of good US outlets that will ship overseas (albeit at a premium) so I can continue the great hobby.
Best cigar I've had the pleasure of smoking so far was a La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Lancero.

I look forward to getting to know my fellow brothers and sisters!

@mastershake This is very true, prices are a little inflated due to our horrendous tax and (again) shipping but at least I can pick them up hassle free.

@cigar_benz_daddy I think it's difficult not to! Every marine I met, to a man, gave me a "Ello guv'na! Cheerio!"

As I mentioned in the OP my favourite cigar so far has been a La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Villano. I'm still relatively new to all this and would really appreciate some suggestions as to anything similar to try.

I am indeed although I work just north of Newcastle so I spend most of my time there.

No just this one so far, really only started to delve a bit deeper into the world of cigar smoking this year. Been smoking for a bit longer but that was really just a way to unwind with the lads out in theatre.
