Hey guys,

Just received a new box of cigars, my first full box purchase... :). Manufacture date says February, 2013... They've been in my humidor for 4 days... Wondering how long I should leave them in there before smoking? Newbie with the humidor question...

Thanks,
Ian

I always smoke one right away to see how wet/dry they might be from shipping and storage conditions and determine from there. My personal taste keeps cigars around 65% for smoking but everyone is different. Test one and see if it is ready for your tastes.

I say smoke one now and see how it goes.
pretty much this. you may want to give them a week dependent on how well they were shipped, or who you purchased them from, but if they look and smell decent, spark one up! FWIW this is a fairly bulletproof and straightforward blend, and should be ready to roll. o)

EDIT: also, what brandon said

Just got a fresh box of these myself and smoked them right away. I think that these cigars taste really great when fresh. Much better then they did when they were aged, but that's just my opinion. I say smoke the shit out of them. If you run out, get another box!

Smoke 'em buddy! These are the best $5 cigars on the market, imo. Pepin blends are always very good fresh ...to my goat palate, anywho :)

I second that. Let them settle and get acquainted with the new temp and RH. Then in about a month smoke those mothers till there aint any left. (or whatever you prefer lol):cbig:
