new car deals

anybody hear of any good new car deals. I have been hearing of crazy deals, but havent really got a handle on whats available.

Haven't heard of any deals here in MI. But if there are, it seems you have to practically pay cash because of the credit freeze. I know last month Ford was giving away a Focus if you purchased a F350. Not much of a "buy one get one free" there. I'll check tomorrows paper and let you know if I see anything new.

Looking for a new SUV myself. Maybe a pickup truck, not sure. I do like the Ram trucks and F150's right now too.

Saw a dealer in the area with the 150's for $12,900 with great wheels and another dealer had the PT Cruiser for under $10,000. I'm not going to buy any cars as I keep my cars in pristine condition,,,2000 Trooper that only has 60,000 miles on it and a 99 BMW 328I that looks brand new that has 92,000 miles on it. Cheaper to keep what you have with the economy sucking so bad.

seems like some real deals were to be had when gas was $4 plus per gallon. I herad of some gas pigs going for half price.

anyway, I picked up a chevy impala today. 2008 leftover. stickered at $24K, paid $17k

What year F150?

Looked like 07 or 08. It was on the lift and probably was stripped but at that price,,,I can get a sound system and other items.
