I got that. Doesn't seem any different other then when you are shipping many packages at once. And they still have to scan the damned bar code for the system to work. :rofl:

Yea I saw no advantage here.

I guess they figure if someone is shipping many packages, then they only have one label to scan. But the only time savings is for the post office.

So a new form and you can know if your bulk packages have been received.

I thought the first notification would have helped individual packages which would have been a plus for us.

I actually think this is a little helpful for the basic fact that USPS no longer scans any of your packages prior to sending them out! They say it's too time consuming. At least this way you know your packages make it into the system (not that it really matters as the DC # is for only when it's scanned when it's actually delivered...which they don't always do either - LOL!)
