New to the forum. Enjoying a My Father and Aberlour tonight.
Thought I might edit and add some info:
I live in Yuma, AZ, which is probably the Hottest and driest place in the US, (Great winters though). I've Been enjoying 4-5 sticks per week for about two years and prior was only on occasion. I usually enjoy a cigar at night by our fire pit with a few fingers of Single Malt or Bourbon, occasionally red wine, but I prefer scotch with a cigar.
My favorite cigar is a LP#9 and some others I really enjoyed are: La Gloria Cubana Serie R, My Father Le Bijou 1922, A.Fuente Gran Reserve WOAM. I definitely like full/strong cigars with Maduro or Oscuro wrappers (Flavor seems more to my liking).
Some sticks I'd really like to try and I keep my eye open for:
LP Velvet Rat
LP Dirty Rat
A.Fuente Anejo #77
Tatuaje Drac
I get a kick out of reading some reviews. I have never tasted "Dried apricots, cherries, or gingerbread" in any cigar I've smoked, but I guess I still have some learning to do. My other favorite quote in a review is "Earthy", doesn't that mean "Dirt"?
I am mostly on here to learn more about recommended sticks, storage tips and industry specials. Maybe once I have a decent sized stash, I'll try trading, but until then...still building.
