Found this site through a link from another cigar forum I'm a member at. Lovin' what I see here so I thought I'd join and introduce myself.
I'm Leif; I live in the Seattle area with my wife and 3 boys. I smoked cigars a bit as a kid and through collage, but somehow I lost the habit. A few years ago I got the bug back, and it's been a real treat to take this habit much further than I ever did before (visiting the humidor used to mean a trip to the local tobacconist - ha!).
Some of my favorites are the better A Fuente goodies (esp Hemingways and Opus), Liga Privada T52, the LFD factory press II, some from the My Father series, and pretty much anything that says Ashton VSG. I also love Monti #4, Monti #2, Partagas D4, Fonseca Cosacos, Trinidad Fundadores, and Romeo Y Julieta EL 2009 among others when I can get them while in Canada.
This hobby sure is a slippery slope.
Now I'm converting an antique treasure chest (dated 1787) into a floor humidor. I need more room for new boxes and a fun project. I think I just about have all the components, so this is just about ready to build. This is actually part of how I found botl.org while following a link to a "wine-a-dor" to get some ideas. I'll post some pics when this project starts to get wings.
Looking forward to seeing more of what this board is all about!!
