Oliver on the right joined the family from Clinton county animal rescue on tuesday. He is a 14 months old coonhound. That is all I know lol. Even though I have that lab I am not a hunting guy so I don't know the difference between the coonhounds though I think he is a tree walker. They said he is full size but if seen some big coonhounds.
Anyone have hunting dogs? I got a feeling I'll have a lot of questions about training this guy. I can already tell he is really smart and really independent.

That's a cute little guy you got there! Congratulations, but sorry I have no experience with hunting dogs.

Congrats on the new addition to the family. I dont have a hunting dog but I have a herding dog that's blue heeler an Australian shepherd mix an she is very smart an needs alot of exercise every day. If you dont run her for a couple days she starts pulling things off shelves and just getting into trouble.

Congrats on the new edition to the family. For some reason I can't see a picture.
We had a Treeing Walker Hound and also got her at the Humane Society here in Sothern MD. She was one of a litter of eight and they called them Annie's Angels. Precious was a great pup and there wasn't a squirrel in So. MD that didn't know her name.

Thanks guys. Yeah he has been great so far. Really likes my wife. Very smart already picking up on his name and sit, down commands. The goal is to have him off leash most the time with my lab but we will see just how stubborn he ends up being.
