Well, my dad wanted a pistol, I wanted a rifle...more specifically, a sniper rifle (Yeah, i've always been a fan of that) but anyways, he got the money and he chose to buy a Taurus PT 111. Now I need help.

I do not know the exact model since it only says "PT 111" and Millennium. I'm sure it is not a Millennium PRO but I'm not sure which PT-111 is it. We want to buy some laser sights for it. Any recommendation? I only found THIS Any help or advice appreciated.

Those are night sights, not lasers. Lasers are a visible dot projected on to the target.
Buy those sights, learn to shoot with them. Lasers are advertised as "GREAT FOR NEW SHOOTERS". Not at all. They teach you nothing about shooting. They are great for experienced shooters when shooting from compromised positions and such, in low light.

Lasers make you lazy....

they are only suitable for very specific tactical situations.. and can actually cause you to be a WORSE shot if you dont know what you are doing with them.. mwlabel is correct.. stick to a quality set of night sights (lie you have identified in your link).. and master the fundamentals of shooting.. you will be a better/faster/more accurate shot as a result..

If you are further worried about low light target identification.. consider a mounted light...

I havent looked at a PT 111 in a long time... not sure if they ever came out with a model that has a rail or not (the older ones that I have seen didnt have one).. but thats something you need to think about as well... if you choose to ignore the advice given here and get the laser anyway.. how are you going to mount it?

Lasers project a dot on the target to predict where the bullet will land. If you do not properly squeeze the trigger, or maintain the correct grip on the weapon you will still miss. Learning with the proper way to shoot with sights will get you much further than learning with a laser. After you have learned to correctly fire a weapon you can add a laser to your toolbox if you like, but without the initial learning of fundamentals the laser is worthless.
