Anyone ever been there? I was there for supper last night at the Red Geranium. Pretty good eats, but the town's history is what I found fascinating. A gal that suggested it knew a lot of the history there, but it was dark out after supper and we only did a short walk thru the 'topless church' and within a 1 block radius of there. If anyone has been there and knows more of the history, please post up here.
I would like to go back there someday and take a longer stroll, or hop on a golf cart, as it is a 'golf cart friendly community'. I thought that was rather unique as well.
Maybe a New Harmony herf someday?

I live in Southern Indiana but had never heard of this place. Right off of 64, so isn't too difficult to get to.

Yeah, look it up man. I was in Carmi IL for training this week and that place was close. Not many places to eat around there.

Golf carts keep it green. It kinda seems like it was a hippie town back in the day. That's not a knock, I just thought it was interesting.
