Hurts like all hell right now! Hurts more now than it did when I got it!!! Thanks for the compliments guys! I thought about getting a cigar band around my leg but the wife would probably kill me.

What do you use to help the healing? I use aquaphor non scented ointment and it works great.

I keep it simple and use A&D

Although the last Tat I got they told me not to bother using ointment. Maybe cause it was a small one.

I've always just used currel unscented lotion. How I understand it is the ointments make it heal faster, where the lotion just keeps it moist and keeps the scabs from falling off to quick.

I use A&D as well at Tattoo Goo. After 5 days I was told to stop using them and switch to unscented lotion, which I have from my last tat.

I have used A&D in the past and use Aquaphor now. I feel it works much better. I use ointment til the swelling and sensitivity goes away (usually several days) then switch to Aveeno lotion til it's fully healed.
