Just received this in a box of CoRo with a box code of TAS JUL 12...

Never seen this before and it's not on the Cubancigarwebsite.com. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a short instruction manual on how to properly store the cigars in 4 different languages. The first one is Spanish, which must have thrown you off.

Sorry... I guess I wasn't very clear here. I'm referring to the new DOP strip running at an angle on the notice. I've been told on a different website that these have just started showing up with that strip on them. If anyone else has received this version I'd appreciate you letting me know.

Do yourself a favor and bury those coros for 3 years.
These will be opened July 2017... They're part of my aging plan. I put away about 10 or so boxes a year for short (5 years) to long (15 years) term aging. I keep a spread sheet that tracks my next five years of purchases and various other data. I'm a little obsessive about it haha.

It just got added to Cubancigarwebsite.com so I have no worries. Thanks for the responses.

Im sure some factories are low on the old instruction sheets. (those that pump out product(El Laguito).Probably just ran out of old stock quicker. Thus getting the new sheets faster. Do they still curl up like the old ones from the heat of your palms when holding them? Looks like the same paper.

It's the same paper. I've received confirmation that they are indeed legit. Just new... And seeing something I've never seen before in a box of CCs isn't always a good thing. Thanks!

Good point about some factories getting these quicker. I imagine we'll be seeing a mix of these for a year or two.

Sorry for the thread hijack here, but since we are on the subject of unusual contents ( or in my case, lack of contents ) in CC boxes, I received two boxes of Partagas Supers today ( ALT JUN 12 ) and neither one had the cedar sheet between the two layers of cigars! First time I've ever seen this and wonder if anyone else has seen it? Thanks!

Hey Timeye,
I've never seen it although that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. For one I highly doubt they are faking Partagas Supers and 2. I've never personally ordered a box of Partagas Supers but the sheet does come with the Aristocrats and the Shorts so I suspect you should have it. You can always post pictures if you want further opinion or refer to here: http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/index.htm

Thanks, Trent! Yes, I'm pretty sure no one would go to great lengths to fake a Super! :agreesmil I trust the vendor and am sure the cigars are real..... just haven't smoked one yet, that will be the true test. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this before. As a side note, I did buy these as a two box special, and am wondering if that has anything to do with it. Also, the boxes were sealed when I received them. Thanks again!

Edit; I already checked CCWebsite and found no mention of cedar sleeves being omitted.
