Well, it was announced late last week through a press release, but I might as well say something here. My cigar shop - Tobacco Grove in Maple Grove, MN - has brought me on as a "Cigar Concierge" for online sales and development. It's not a full time, or paying, gig as of yet - but could develop into one very soon. I'm essentially heading up all customer relations via our online customers - who are 99% out of state, as the prices listed on the site are MSRP, and do not include MN tobacco tax - which is only required for shipments to MN, or people buying at the store, obviously.
Because I'm now working for a cigar shop, I don't really know what the protocol is for me commenting, etc. I'd love to be able to relay deals directly to you guys (as they'd be made by me, so I could do a BOTL special or something...) but I don't know what is proper decorum. I won't post about prices or deals, or anything related to the shop's sales until I hear anything from a moderator (can one of you PM me with proper procedures?).
Anyway, here's to hoping that things will turn out well. I'll still be on here quite a bit to talk and everything like I've done before, so nothing will change in that respect.
