Hello everyone!
Just signed up and just had my first cigar ever! On another forum I spend time on someone post in a good deal thread about a humidor and 10 cigars for $20. I'm the best man for my brother who is getting married and thought people buy cigars for celebrations so I should look into this. So I've spent probably 15 hours reading about cigars over the last week culminating in an order of the sampler pack and another sampler. Got my order in today and had my first cigar, a Macanudo Hyde Park. Had a little trouble lighting it but ultimately prevailed. I enjoyed the cigar as best I could, trying to figure out how to draw correctly, how much is too much, how much is not enough to keep it lit, etc.
I have my humidor seasoning as I type.
It was a great experience, I'm thinking I am going to like this hobby and this forum is a pretty nice place to hang out it seems.
