Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am pretty new to the cigar scene in general. I have smoked a few cigars in my life and found the urge to smoke some recently after a pretty good break ( I guess reading an issue of Cigar Aficionado will do that to you :razz:). Anyways, I finally decided I would go the whole way and buy my first humidor at the same time. During that process I stumbled upon this wonderful website. I hope to meet new friends and get some input on which cigars I should be smokin. I just ordered some Rocky Patel Decade Torpedos since they got a pretty high point rating. Can't wait to get them and try them out. :stretchgr

Welcome to the site......good order, those sticks are great. However, as a general rule I would not look to Cigar Afficionado's ratings as a reason to buy or not to buy a cigar. Ask the brothers on the site and do some additional research to make sure that you are really getting the type of cigar that you want for your money.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to do that since that is part of the reason why I joined.
